Drew Pariano Obituary – The Fairview community is mourning the loss of Drew Pariano, a distinguished athlete, coach, and alumnus who passed away last night. He was a member of the Fairview High School Class of 1995 and was inducted into the Fairview Alumni Hall of Fame in 2008.
Pariano leaves behind a legacy of excellence in wrestling that spanned decades. As a student-athlete at Fairview High School, he became a three-time Ohio High School Wrestling State Champion, establishing himself as one of the most accomplished wrestlers in school history. His success continued at the collegiate level, where he earned three Big Ten placements and qualified three times for the NCAA Wrestling Championships.
Beyond his achievements on the mat, Pariano made a lasting impact as a coach and mentor. He later served as head coach at Northwestern University, where he was known for his leadership, discipline, and commitment to developing student-athletes both competitively and personally.
